Anri is an excellent teacher; she is very knowledgeable and warm-hearted, and eager to share both the language and culture of Japan. As a complete beginner I appreciated that Anri started from the foundations of Japanese language - sounds, pronunciation and the intention behind them. She embeds Japanese culture, values and traditions into language learning. Anri was willing to customise the lessons to suit my needs and it felt like a shared exploration rather than a typical lesson. I'm looking forward to continuing.
