I started learning Chinese with Poona 6 months ago, taking one lesson a week, and I'm really happy with the progress I've been making! She keeps the lessons fun and friendly with conversation, new vocabulary, and thorough explanations of the particularly tricky parts of Chinese grammar, and she's done a great job of giving me ways to practice between our weekly lessons including watching YouTube videos in Chinese, translations, and other homework assignments that help me understand Chinese culture better. I'd strongly recommend her to anyone looking to pick up Chinese, or folks who already know some Chinese and are looking to improve their skills and want to have fun doing it. 谢谢 Poona！

Poona is helping me not only to become more confident in speaking conversations but also to deal with difficult exercises I have to do for university. She's always available to do what I need to do during our classes. She writes me in the free time asking me questions and making me practice more and more. Poona is soo creative at making up fun interactive games to learn Chinese, and makes conversation in such a heart warming way. I can't really imagine any better teacher!

Wow, I was very impressed with Poona and her class - she is genuinely interested in learning about people, and is incredibly open minded. It was so easy to talk with her — when I struggled to get sentences out, she patiently waited for me to try to figure out what I wanted to say, and when I wasn't sure what to say, she always had an interesting question to move the conversation forward. 謝謝妳，我很期待再跟妳上課！
