Hello! I’m Michaela, a TEFL-certified English tutor from sunny South Africa 🌞. With 4 years of experience, I offer fun, conversational lessons for learners of all levels—from beginners (A1-A2) to advanced speakers (C1-C2). Whether you’re a child, teen, or adult, I’ll help you speak confidently about travel, food, culture, or any topic you love! I have an informal teaching experience - assisting children with homework. I am able to handle multiple tasks on a daily basis. I am dependable who is great at time management. I am confident that I have the knowledge and skill to professionally fulfil the Community Teacher position as required by Italki. I also have a 120 hour TEFL degree. My lessons are fun, interactive and engaging. I also give feedback to the student, making sure that they understand the content taught.
I also offer grammar lessons, but my primary focus is on conversational lessons. I believe that learning a new language requires plenty of practice, so I encourage students to engage in real-world conversations.
