Julie’s been there with me for years. Lately she’s helping me through Mandarin presentations for my master’s. She always finds time and is the most thorough teacher I’ve had out of all the other teachers I tried on iTalki. She knows when to cut in and correct you, she’s very detail-oriented, and she holds me accountable to the goals I’ve been setting for myself. Really a stand-out teacher that I will always keep coming back to when I need to take my mandarin to the next level.

今天我在italki滿一年，恭喜恭喜💐。一年前我的第一次老師是你，我還很高興認識你，和你學習中文很開心！這一年我的中文進步了很多，已經上500以上的課我自己很驚訝。我很期待從明年一月到三月去台灣玩，跟台灣朋友們可以交流。謝謝Julie！

Julie is so much fun as a teacher! She speaks at a level I can understand but still challenges me and inspires me to continue learning. My confidence in my conversation skills have improved since meeting her and I don’t feel as shy about speaking in Mandarin. My listening has also improved. Thanks for all the great lessons so far!
