Aswanigaru is a fantastic and committed teacher. She is effortlessly kind but appropriately strict in her instruction, and is immediately apparent how much joy she takes in teaching others. Even in our introductory lesson she made sure to teach something because she believes, like a true guru, every moment is a teaching moment. I never feel shy or embarrassed practicing with or learning from her; instead, I feel motivated and excited for each class. Every language teacher should takes notes from her - I cannot recommend her instruction highly enough!!

Mrs. Aswani is a fantastic teacher that has been helping me improve my Telugu and Tamil! She is very detailed and helps me correct any mistakes while speaking. She is organized and keeps notes of all discussed topics as well as newly learned vocabulary for the session. She is very friendly and easy to talk to and learn from, and she has helped me reconnect with my roots. She also answers any questions I have at any time, and she responds very quickly. For anyone wanting to learn Telugu from a true expert, Mrs. Aswani is a top class teacher!

I have been taking Telugu conversation lessons with Aswani once a week for about a year now. She is patient, knowledgeable, and makes every lesson enjoyable. She explains the main grammar concepts for conversations in an easy way, and we practice these concepts along with vocabulary during our lessons. Thanks to her guidance, I’ve made noticeable progress with both speaking and understanding Telugu.

Aswani understands the pace at which I can learn very well. I feel pushed to pick up new vocabulary but not overwhelmed. At this early stage of my learning she encourages me to not get caught up on minor details and focus on the general principles instead. She is a very good teacher.
