I've taken classes with Aline for 2-3 years now I think and I can't imagine having a better teacher. I have a degree in Spanish and had some knowledge of Portuguese prior so I started with grammar courses but then moved on to her other courses reading texts and literature, all of which have been exceptional. She is extremely knowledgeable of the technical aspects of the language from the grammar and linguistics side, knows how to employ and analyze the language in any professional, academic, literary context, or informal context, and is extremely well versed in Brazilian literature. If that weren't enough she is always engaging during classes (which is helpful for shy folk like myself) and really knows how to tailor the classes to the student's interests and needs. Every class I've had with her (at least 100 if not approaching 200 at this point) has been an absolute delight.

Aline is an amazing teacher! I have been doing Portuguese classes with her for 2 years now and I am amazed at how much I have learnt in that time. I feel like I could get by in almost any situation by speaking Portuguese. She is also so friendly, funny and patient and relaxed so I love our lessons together. :)
