Terrific lesson with Kiny, thank you!

Today I had my first lesson with Kiny and I absolutely loved it! I’m really happy with how much vocab I picked up and how much speaking practice I got. The class dynamic was great too. I’m definitely sticking with her! I highly recommend her. If you’re looking for someone to learn Cantonese with, Kiny is the one!

Kiny is really a good teacher. We would have basic conversations to just to keep me speaking. We would also go back to the previous lesson and review the past lesson to see if I am understanding the materials. Kiny would always encourage me to speak more even though I am a beginner and help me boost my confidence. Thank you teacher Kiny.

Kiny suggested me to write down my travel experience to Beijing, which I found it really helpful. I am writing down something I myself experienced, it requires me to review and research. As my work schedule changes a lot, I much appreciate Kiny being flexible and patient with me.

I wish I could be able to check more teaching style boxes to show how much I enjoy her lessons! I am more than thankful for finding Kiny as my Cantonese teacher. She is patient, knowledgeable, encouraging and flexible. She has her own teaching materials handy, it is instructive and detailed. But she still is very flexible when I have specific requests that fit my goal. She types all words that I need improvement and share them with me along with the pronunciation after our each lesson. She is patient always, smiling. I don’t ever get discouraged speaking with her in full Cantonese even though I really don’t know much yet. I am confident that I will reach my goal with her being my teacher.

This is my first time taking the lesson and it is really good. I got the chance to practice speaking even though I am a beginner. The teacher encourage me to speak in the lesson to practice my pronunciation of each words. It help me a lot and I really like the class and how the class is structure to my level. I will definitely book more classes in the future.
