Como profesora, soy una persona que no teme innovar. Me gusta enseñar a través de la literatura porque nos da temas de conversación, a la vez que nos permite profundizar y ampliar en temas relacionados con la cultura hispanohablante.
As a teacher i'm not afraid to try new things. I like to teach through literature because it gives us conversational topics and allows us to know more about spanish language and culture.

Mi metodología se centra en ti como estudiante. En ese sentido, todas las decisiones que tomo, pienso en primera instancia en tus necesidades e intereses. Propongo actividades y contenido que sea relevante para ti, así como para tus inquietudes en torno a la lengua española. Me gusta aprovechar cada oportunidad para explorar los aspectos culturales del lenguaje.
I use a student centered methodology. It means that every decision made, looks to fit your needs and interests. I usually propose practical content and exercises to answer your concerns towards Spanish language. Mi especialización fue en sociolingüística del español en su variedad venezolana. Ello me puso en contacto, desde el principio, con la relevancia de tomar en cuenta las variedades del español como un punto de partida para entendernos mejor.

Docente de Literatura/InglésPor 8 años trabajé como docente institucional en las áreas de Literatura e inglés, siempre con grupos de adolescentes. Fueron 3 años seguidos en Venezuela y luego los restantes 5 en Ecuador.

Lessons with Rut are always great. She is very friendly and easy to talk to. She comes up with original and interesting ways to learn and practice, and she is great at adapting to your needs. It is clear that she not only enjoys teaching but also has a real love of the Spanish language. I am very happy with my classes with Rut. She does a great job of preparing materials for our classes, that work as prompts for starting conversations. At the same time she is flexible, and lets our conversation go off on interesting tangents. It's obvious that she has a deep knowledge of the Spanish language, and I'm looking forward to learning more with her :) Muchas gracias :)
