I love that I'm learning a lot of useful expressions along the natural flow of the conversation. I never feel rushed, and I feel comfortable going over the same sentence multiple times to familiarize myself with the structure and practice my pronunciation. Carol is also very good at bringing up very relevant synonyms or phrases related to certain words that comes up during the conversation. Thanks always for the pleasant class :)

Carol is a great teacher and I consider myself very lucky to meet her on italki. We have been doing conversation classes for some time now and even though I am a beginner, I see that I am learning, my speaking skills are getting better and better and after each class I feel that I can really learn Chinese. She has great energy, a very passionate and patient teacher, and her vast knowledge of Chinese culture and history is a big plus.

Since I started having classes with Carol I finally felt progress in my speaking skills building up gradually, which never happend before in 2 years of learning Chinese. I was about to give up but decided to give it one more chance and was lucky because Carol is a perfect tutor. She is patient and helpful, very skilled in terms of teaching, has good command of English and can speak about anything you like. In my case, a combination of free speaking and preparation for HSK 4 is a perfect mix. I would recommend Carol 100%！

Carol is super helpful and great at explaining things. I learn so much in these sessions, plus the fun conversations motivate me to learn material beyond what textbooks offer.
