My name is Shahira, which means "famous" in Arabic. Well, I hope I will be as famous as "Shakira" one day with one letter different! Languages are my passion, I am a native Arabic speaker. One of my parents is from Syria and the other is from Morocco, so my cultural and linguistic background in a combination between the east and the west. Currently, I am studying for my Masters in International Development at the University of Leicester.Показать перевод

As a teacher, I have always aspired to establish a more profound relationship with my students than the regular tutor/ student. I believe that each person is different in his/ her ability, skills, and learning style.Мои уроки и стиль преподавания
- First of all, I have to determine what is the student learning style. Based on that we will together set up the best plan to achieve the best level of learning to develop the 4 aspects of the Arabic: Reading (قراءة), writing (كتابة), speaking (تكلم), and listening (استماع).
- Students can choose to learn Modern Standard Arabic (Fusha) or Sham accent ( Syria, Lebanon, Palestine).
- Examples of the techniques I use include technology-enhanced tasks and activities, spaced repetition systems, and association methods.Мой учебный материал

The lesson with Shahira was great! It was well-structured and everything was explained to me clearly and at a manageable pace. Also, Shahira is a very nice person and makes you feel comfortable during the lesson. Will be schedulling another lesson soon!

Sherly is an excellent teacher that listens attentively and tailors the lesson to my requirements. She also gives out good information after the lesson including ideas for further help and websites containing extra information. I would highly recommend her to anyone who wishes to learn Arabic. 🥰

I loved talking with Sherly! we had a very interesting lesson and I'm obviously going to try and study with her again soon!
My main goal was to practice talking and she gave me the opportunity to do so :)
