Hello my name is Zelaida!
I’m from Xela, Guatemala – one of the most popular destinations in Central America for learning Spanish due to the easy to understand accent, tropical climate and prestigious Spanish schools.
I’m a professional Spanish teacher with experience teaching both children and adults. I hold a certificate in “Grammar in Spanish” and am studying further at university.
From my experience learning English, I understand that learning a new language is not easy, however with a positive mindset it is achievable and worth the effort to be able to communicate in another language.Показать перевод

I am a qualified Spanish teacher with experience teaching both children and adults.
Currently, I am teaching Spanish at an dedicated language school in Xela, Guatemala. This has included teaching students from different backgrounds and ages.Мои уроки и стиль преподавания
My teaching style is to adapt my lessons to the individual needs of each student. This ensures that individual learning styles and preferences are considered.
During my lessons, I like to focus on developing conversational fluency – through immersion techniques and practicing speaking and pronunciation. This includes discussing different everyday topics and completing fun and interactive activities.
At the end of each lesson, my students will have takeaway knowledge which they can practice in preparation for the next lesson. I also provide all my students with useful resources for practicing in between classes.

I look forward to Zelaida's lessons; I feel like my ability to listen to and speak in Spanish has greatly improved already. I appreciate the focus on improving speaking skills; Zelaida speaks entirely in Spanish during the lesson. It can challenging for me to keep up at times, but Zelaida is always happy to repeat and speak slowly for me to catch up. She is friendly and patient with my mistakes. We often start the lesson with reading passages and I find the topics to be varied and interesting.
