Sandy is an excellent teacher! I have been working with her for almost two years now; she has been so helpful to me as I’ve learned Spanish, and I consider her a friend. Sandy is a very empathetic person, this is one of her most exceptional attributes. She shows a genuine interest in everyone she meets and she asks important and interesting questions about life, community, learning and more. The energy and positivity that she possesses is incredible, and we always finish every lesson smiling and laughing. She comes to every lesson prepared, and together we’ve found a rhythm to create lessons that include conversations about interesting topics, grammar and vocabulary work and opportunities for me to practice reading and writing. Sandy is a patient and friendly person, and she creates a learning environment that is very relaxed and without stress. I strongly recommend Sandy to anyone considering learning Spanish or advancing their Spanish skills!

I had a great first trial lesson with Sandy. She was easy to understand, patient, and made me feel comfortable speaking Spanish from the beginning. I really appreciated that she spoke mostly in Spanish at a level suited to me, but could also explain things clearly in English when needed. The lesson felt natural, encouraging, and well balanced.
