Hello! My name is Elcidio and I'm 23 years old. I was born and raised in Mozambique. I really love learning new languages and meeting new people. I currently speak Portuguese as a native speaker, english, french, spanish and I've recently started learning mandarin chinese. I'm also passionate about music and art. My favorite artist is Malangatana. I like reading mindfulness books, business books and fiction. I also like to discuss about politics, science, nature and the environment. I'm also an entrepreneur, I started my business "a hardware store" in June 2021.Показать перевод

I've got over 3 years of experience teaching Portuguese and English online, and before that I used to be an English tutor for adults, which gives me 7 years of experience. I'm very patient with my students and I encourage them to make mistakes because that's the only way they can learn. Details are very important to me, so I tend to focus on them; things such as pronunciation, accent mark( if we are writing ), sentence structure are very important. I like to correct without interrupting so I usually let my students finish their sentence before giving them a tip.Мои уроки и стиль преподавания
Having a private tutor allows you to have personalized classes:
just a few rules:
- Don't be shy, you learn by making mistakes.
- if you don't understand something, ask right away.
- try to forget your native language for a while
I offer personalized lessons that are designed to meet your goals. In my lessons I like to use texts, audios and images. I teach group classes starting from 2 to 8 students.

Die Probestunde hat mir sehr gefallen. Ich würde animiert auf portugiesisch zu sprechen und mir wurde aufmerksam zugehört und ich wurde freundlich korrigiert und motiviert und neue Vokabeln wurden erklärt und gleich notiert.
