Sarah Moon

I have now studied for an entire year with Sarah and she is amazing. Always in a good mood, explaining the concepts and showing examples that actually help you learn the language. Highly recommend her!

Our lesson on cooking coincided with Chuseok, so we also talked about the foods that are prepared for the holiday. I really like how Teacher Moon incorporates history and culture with the language lessons.

In class we still study the book materials, but as I understand more, we're able to practice conversing more, which is a lot of fun. This time we talked about travel, and about volunteer work, and how they help the elderly to stay warm and fed during winters in Korea.

선생님 is alway's great, I love my lessons with her, I usually come prepared with pictures of things I've done or cooked and we chat all about them, and she gives me lots of insight into korean culture. I always finish my lessons feeling like I've learned a little more Korean and come away even more confident.

We're learning about weather and seasons, and it's so much fun to be able to compare how the weather is here to where the teacher is. Teacher Moon asks questions to help me use the vocabulary in a regular conversation, and she will speak a little faster or a little more complicated each time to challenge me to follow.
