Alina

I want to give a big shout out to Alina after passing Russian B2 (ТРКИ 2). Her lessons are always helpful, fun intellectually stimulating and effective, notably thanks to her professionalism, positive personality, 100% commitment and abundant challenging resources. I believe I’m on track to a C1 with her help and would highly recommend her to any serious Russian learners!

Alina has helped me tremendously with my study of Russian. Class is very casual and it has helped my conversational skills a lot, to the point where I have been able to order food from the local Uzbek place entirely in Russian. The homework she assigns is perfect for me. It's a mix of listening, writing, and producing new content (sentences). She was able to quickly determine where my weak spots were and come up with a plan for addressing those. She's an excellent teacher and I highly recommend her.

I have taken more lessons with Alina than any other teacher on italki, and have worked with her for a year already, and there is a simple reason that I always come back to her - she is fantastic. She is incredibly organized and well prepared, and extremely knowledgeable about her language and about the pedagogical methods required to teach it to non-native speakers. She is also very patient and adapts her lessons to your learning needs. She is the type of teacher who cares about her students and will go out of her way to make sure that she is meeting their individual needs. She will push you outside of your comfort zone, which is really excellent if you are stuck somewhere in the realm of intermediate and have not progressed for a while. I also leave almost every lesson laughing and having had a great time, while also having learned. Thank you Alina :)

Best teacher ever! You can really feel that Alina loves what she does. She displays a rare balance of fun and firmness that makes her lessons extremely rigorous but always pleasant.
