Paloma is full of energy, has the patience that a teacher needs. She cares not just to teach you, but also for your well-being. I've been enjoying having her as my tutor for 3 weeks now. The materials we study with are always engaging, and beneficial to my development. Looking forward to the future!

I had an amazing trial lesson with Paloma! She was so friendly, supportive, and enthusiastic. I'm preparing for an upcoming trip to Oaxaca and had specific questions about culture and some indigenous arts, and she was happy to share info, including some from her academic research. She explained unfamiliar vocabulary, patiently listened to my fumblings, and made corrections as needed. The conversation felt warm and natural, which is exactly what I need to build confidence and vocabulary before my trip. I'm really looking forward to my next conversation.

Paloma is a wonderful teacher! She speaks very clearly and can tell if you don't understand something and she's able to rephrase her questions/commentary. I highly recommend if you want to just focus on improving your conversation and listening skills. She remembers previous conversations you've had and is able to switch to new topics with ease so that you don't feel like you're talking about the same things all the time. You can speak entirely in Spanish, or Spanglish, or mostly English depending on your level and Paloma is very supportive in giving corrections or providing vocabulary you seem to be struggling with. She's very sweet and patient! Conversations with her are always relaxed and fun.
