Hyungsu Kim

Hyungsu is an amazing teacher. We’ve been working together for more than 2 years now and my Korean level has grown incredibly fast. Although learning a completely new language can be daunting, and it’s easy to feel discouraged when things start to get difficult, Hyungsu’s lessons and materials really help you keep motivated and feel like you’re making progress. I started my lessons barely being able to read Korean and with only a few words learned from Korean Dramas and Korean Music. Now I am able to have 1 hour lessons almost fully in Korean, read, write and have advanced dialogues. I really couldn’t recommend anyone better 고마워요 쌤, 최고예요!

Hyungsu is a great teacher. I have been taking classes for over two months now and only knew Hangeul and a handful of words in the beginning. Obviously, I still have a long way to go, but I'm amazed by all the things I learned in such a short amount of time. I like the mixture of grammar concepts, reading/speaking exercises and additional cultural background information. The class environment feels really encouraging and friendly too, so don't worry about making mistakes or asking questions. :)

Hyungsu is stellar! He provides very focused, organized lessons and supports them with clear explanations and supportive encouragement. He is patient and gently corrects mistakes, so you can focus on the language. He is always happy to answer questions, and he tailors the lesson to your needs as well. I'm having a wonderful time learning with him and look forward to his class each week! Thanks Hyungsu for making learning Korean so fun and rewarding!
