I am an American born and raised in California. I am a proud mom of one. I have an interesting background in modern /ballet dance, and I hold a B.A. in English Creative Writing with a concentration in fiction. I am also a self-publishing author and poet. My hobbies are film /fitness/ travel, and I am a xenophile because I love learning and meeting people from all over the world. My interests are Arts/Museums, so much so that I am finishing up my MFA. degree in Arts Management.

I am a native English speaker; most of my experience of teaching has been in creative communication. As a beginning instructor, I love the foundation and the importance of a strong foundation. I am learning French, so I can not only teach beginners but also relate to them with patience, with the goal of enabling a smooth transition to the next level.

I specialize in teaching the foundation, specifically Intro & beginning English for adults and kids. My lessons are beginner-friendly and are designed around our first meeting to establish the area you want to learn and your preferred learning style. We will determine if you just want to learn hello/goodbye, meet and greet, or go a little further into conversation.
