川 Chuan

I had a great second lesson with Chuan! After an interesting conversation about school in the US vs. China, we learned vocabulary related to travel and airports. The material she uses is organized very nicely, and I enjoy learning and reviewing with it. The dialogues with characters, pinyin, and English translation are especially helpful, because then I can learn the words and grammar in context. I look forward to the next lesson!

We had a very good class this week. We talked about how children go camping and what games they play in the US and in parts of China. I learned a lot of new vocabulary that I can go back to in the chat later to study. Chuan is always interesting and patient and iTalki has worked super well for my hobby of studying Chinese.

Amazing teacher! She matches the pace of conversation so you do not feel rushed. She brings different topics to the table such that every lesson is different

Chuan is an excellent teacher. She has been my teacher for at least three years. She is always extremely professional in every way. She puts up with my awful pronunciation and only offers suggestions for improvements. She tells interesting stories/anecdotes at a level I can understand. She is always friendly and helpful.

I had a very enjoyable first lesson with Chloe. I appreciated that as much of the lesson as possible was in easy to follow Mandarin and that we could also use English when it was benefical as well. Looking forward to next time!

Chuan LaoShi is a wonderful teacher. She has been my teacher on iTalki every week for two years. She will tell a part of a story where I am unclear two or three different ways to help me understand it without lapsing into English. She is always very patient when providing me with vocabulary that I often forget. I am only able to spend a few hours a week on my Chinese so I am not the best student and I require a lot of repetition over time and she always provides help without making me feel bad. She is a great teacher and iTalki is tremendous. If you are considering working with Chuan you will not be disappointed.
