I was born and grew up in Istanbul. Since my highschool time, thanks to my city, I communicated with foreign people who visited Istanbul and I helped them to discover the city smoothly, getting an excellent expierence without them noticing a language barrier. Helping people is a pleasure for me. Teaching language for me is another way to help those who want to enjoy Turkish culture in its fullest through the language. That's why, when I teach, I do not get tired and at the end of my lessons I feel satisfied with a feeling that I shared my knowledge.Показать перевод

Since my highschool and university period, I have been teaching Turkish language and other social sciences such as History, Geography, Philosophy to both Turkish and foreign students. However, teaching Turkish to foreigners attracted me and I dedicated myself to teaching Turkish as foreign language. That's why I'm a passionate teacher. I am also disciplined and funny teacher. I give confidence to my students. Sincerity is very important to me. I am always there for my students and ready to help.

My aim is to teach the philosophy and logic of language. While teaching the language, I also make etymological and historical explanations. My students appreciate me for explaining it all in a funny way.
My lesson length is one hour. For the first 10 minutes, we talk about daily topics and play word games to prepare the student for the lesson. Then, I briefly remind the students of the last lesson's topic - it also lasts ten minutes, and we learn a new grammar structure, do reading and listening activities for the remaining 40 minutes. At the end of each lesson, I give students a writing assignment.Мой учебный материал

Efkan has an incredibly efficient teaching method! Maybe the best method ever! I just realized it because I'm currently working on a research project in which I find myself able to deal with some complicated historical materials independently. Given that I started learning Turkish with Efkan as a beginner 3 months ago, I think it's the best proof of how much I've benefited from his lessons so far ! 🤗

I had 3 hours of lessons today with Efkan with a short break.
He is a great teacher able to keep the lessons fun and meaningful for the duration of time- I feel like I have learned a lot of foundation and ground work that I can now take to daily life and practice.
