I grew up in the jungles of Borneo, where I helped my mother work the land. Together, we foraged through the forest and fished the rivers to sustain ourselves. She passed down the ancestral wisdom taught to her by her parents—the knowledge of living in harmony with nature and honouring its spirit. These memories are deeply rooted in my soul and inspired me to pursue a degree in Biology.
In 2023, I furthered my education with a master’s degree in Sustainable Development, equipping myself with interdisciplinary knowledge to address the world’s pressing challenges. Over the years, I’ve worked in formal education, nonprofit work, corporate roles, and digital spaces.Показать перевод

My teaching experience spans both formal and informal settings—from international schools in Bali to over five years of private tutoring. With my interdisciplinary background, I bring a holistic approach to teaching, helping students gain a broader, more current understanding of the subject matter. I am especially passionate about integrating real-world examples from biology and sustainable development into my lessons, making them more engaging and relevant.
Living in a multicultural environment has also given me insight into the challenges students face when learning a new language. I strive to be a patient, attentive teacher who listens closely and supports each learner’s unique journey.Мои уроки и стиль преподавания

Being myself a science journalist and a travel writer, I was first attracted by Diana’s profile who, in addition of being a teacher, is also a biologist and a poet. So many skills and qualities that she uses for her teaching, making my study a moment of pleasure during which I make progress in Indonesian much faster than I hoped or imagined. A choice that really I do not regret.
