I appreciate her as a teacher because she offers detailed feedback on my pronunciation and is very knowledgeable, helpful, and conversational. I appreciate that she has been speaking in more Korean to help me learn better as my skill advances. She is an amazing teacher. (:

I have had lessons with Jenn for nearly 3 years and can’t imagine stopping any time soon. She is a wonderful teacher, always kind, patient and meeting me at whatever my ability is that day, and doesn’t mind repeating things as often as I need her to. When I compare where I was when I started lessons to where I am now, it’s like night and day, and Jenn is to thank for that. Whether we are chatting conversationally, learning new grammar, or doing a listening or reading activity, lessons are always fun and interesting, and I always look forward to them. 많이 도와주셔서 감사합니다, 선생님!

I had such fun with this lesson coming up with sentences based on our current textbook lesson and I always get good homework assignments with clear feedback.

I just hit my 3-year anniversary of studying Korean with Jenn, and I couldn’t be more grateful for her as a teacher. When I first started, I was a complete beginner, and even though I still have a long way to go, I’m able to have simple conversations and my listening comprehension is getting noticeably better. Jenn is excellent at catching and correcting my mistakes in a way that helps me really learn, and she has a gift for explaining the little nuances of the language that you don’t find in textbooks. She’s also really encouraging, which makes speaking practice less intimidating. I’ve made steady progress thanks to her patience, clear teaching style, and the way she keeps lessons structured and fun. More than anything, I've always felt very supported by her in my language journey and that's a big reason I've been able to stick with it for so long.

As always, a fun lesson where I feel my Korean skills are growing.
