I don’t have enough positive words to describe my experience learning with Gonzalo - as a teacher he is incredibly professional, but equally calm, patient and supportive. I learn both Galego and Castellano with him and have made such great progress since starting a few months ago. Gonzalo always has a clear idea of where improvements need to be made in my level, such ability only being possible through his years of experience and natural talent for teaching. He’s such a kind and funny person who makes every lesson a joy. As a result I have recommended him to a few friends also on the same journey as myself. Thank you Gonzalo, I hope to continue learning with you for a long while!

Gonzalo is an awesome teacher! I'm learning Spanish and Galician with him. He is very professional, but also fun and interesting. He values your input for what you'd like to get from a class, but is clearly very experienced and has no problems guiding the class so that you get the most out of it. His feedback is really helpful and constructive, and he is really effective at making you feel comfortable enough to speak a lot and make mistakes/ ask questions without feeling embarrassed. I feel like I'm learning a lot, and the classes are fun, so I look forward to them each week. His English is also impeccable. 10/10 would recommend:)

I've been learning Spanish with Gonzalo since November 2023, and I can truly recommend him as a teacher. Initially, we dedicated time to grammar through a variety of exercises, which helped establish a solid foundation for my understanding. As our sessions progressed, Gonzalo naturally shifted our focus toward conversations and translations, emphasizing the value of immersion and repetition. This approach has made it easier to internalize the language rather than just memorizing rules. I've noticed significant improvement in my understanding and translation skills, and while I’m still developing my speaking abilities, my confidence has definitely grown. Gonzalo’s practical teaching style has boosted my learning journey.
