Hi everyone! / Hej allihopa!
My name is Sara, I'm 33 years old and I live in Istanbul, Türkiye since the beginning of 2021.
For as long as I can remember culture and language has been a huge interest of mine, and I love to connect with people from all over the world. I started learning English before I even started school, and in school I also took German for 3 years. Moreover I lived in Tanzania where I studied Swahili. The past eight years I've been learning Persian/Farsi and now that I live in Türkiye I'm trying to learn Turkish.
Other interests I have is traveling, cooking, boardgames and sipping drinks from a rooftop bar.Показать перевод

I want to make you talk like a swede! I love life and to learn from other people, and I believe not only the language it self but learning the culture of the country and peoples way of thinking is an important aspect to live life to the full.
This is why I look forward to teach you both about the Swedish language aswell as the culture, so that you can feel comfortable making small talk and get to know the Swedes.
My strenght is knowing how difficult it can be to learn a new language, and I'm here to cheer you on and help you through the rough patches. With me you can be completely relaxed, there are no stupid questions, and making mistakes is the only way to learn and progress.Мои уроки и стиль преподавания

Always a pleasure! I’ve studied with Sara for 3 months now and she has helped me improve my Swedish a lot. Sara knows how to create a relaxed environment, so I feel confident to speak and lessons are entirely in Swedish. We use the textbook Rivstart (B1+B2) as support material. Sara writes new words and sentences in a Google Doc document, so I can review my lessons any time on my smartphone. Sara enjoys teaching and it’s always fun to learn Swedish with her. Sara is a great teacher, very personable and easy to chat with. Strikes a nice balance between unstructured conversation in Swedish and the use of formal reading material and exercises. We started working together after I’d been learning Swedish for two weeks and already after only four meetings or so we were speaking primarily extemporaneous Swedish for the first 15-30 minutes of our lessons, so if you put in the work you will be rewarded! She is very tolerant of my somewhat slow Swedish and has helped me make the transition from speaking a lot of Swenglish to primarily just Swedish when we speak extemporaneously.

Sara is an amazing teacher! My Swedish level has increased a lot, and I have become much more confident in my speech. I have had close to 20 classes with Sara, and every time we have great discussions on different topics. She is very supportive and always happy :) 5/5

Sara is an outstanding teacher. She matches our conversations around the topics I'm interested in and want to learn about. Each discussion is upbeat and constructive; if I make a mistake, Sara corrects me supportively, and after a few great lessons I'm already speaking in full sentences and feeling ready for more knowledge! Every lesson is enjoyable, developmental and precise, and my Swedish has improved so rapidly. Thank you Sara!
