Not only are these lessons filled with enjoyment and inspiration, but Alexis is also a miracle worker! I met him as my first tutor only 3 weeks ago, and even in this very short time, he has already given me the tools and strategies I need to thoroughly and successfully prepare for my upcoming DELF B1 exam. I had originally signed up for the exam last month as a personal challenge, but then I quickly panicked when I realized I had no idea about how to actually prepare. Alexis to the rescue! In just these few lessons, he has broken everything down for me, given me real-life strategies for each part of the exam, and guided me through many practice simulations so that I will know exactly what to expect on the exam day. Instead of feeling overwhelmed as I did before, I now feel organized, disciplined, and calm about how to prepare each task, step by step. I still have a month left in my studying, but my readiness and confidence is growing by the day, all thanks to Alexis.

Alexis challenges me to be my best, every class, every time. He is always well-prepared. He takes notes, provides a written summary after class, and anytime I'm struggling during class, he takes the time to make sure that I understand the concept before moving on. He's created an extensive library covering virtually every aspect of grammar, and can instantly share a document to assist my mastery of the language. To top it off, he's a genuinely caring human being. Alexis has my highest recommendation.

I have been working with Alexis for over a year and a half and it has been an absolute pleasure. I've tried so many teachers over the years but what makes Alexis stand out is not only his skill in tailoring lessons precisely to your needs, an overall great human to relate with. With him, I've learned more than just the French language but also a lot about integrating in a new country, art, politics, etc. He is really motivating and inspiring to constantly do better each time.

Alexis is absolutely the best French teacher that I've ever had. The lessons have the best balance of speaking, reading, writing that I've experienced. During the lessons, Alexis has prompts and questions that feel like topics I would discuss in a real life scenario, enabling me to improve my vocabulary in a manner that will be useful in the real world. Simultaneously, he transcribes what is spoken and leaves time to discuss corrections. I find this immensely helpful as the skills for writing, reading, speaking, and listening are all different and this enables us to work on almost all of those almost every session. Finally, he provides a copy of the lesson after its completion, which allows me to look at what I actually said out loud and its associated corrections as well as notes on any deviations we took to discuss vocabulary or grammar. Overall, an incredibly thorough lesson and I can't recommend him highly enough.
