My name is Francesco, I am 31 and I am from Ischia, an island in the gulf of Naples. I have an exstensive experience in teaching Italian offline in Russia in Poland.
At the moment, I am a lecturer in a State University in Warsaw.
I am a CEDILS certified teacher, with an evaluation of 89/100.
I graduated at the University of Naples "L'Orientale", and also studied at the Charles University in Prague and at the Tomsk Polytechnic University in Tomsk.
Besides languages, I am super interested in:
Eastern European films, songs, architecture and history
Contemporary art
Linguistics
Ambient music, post-punk, experimental electronic

As a teacher, I love to adopt the communicative approach with my students and to stick to all has been studied and published by the most important scholars that covered topics as the second language acquisition theories.
I see language learning as a very academic and scientific matter and, as I am a lifelong language learner myself, I know what kind of difficultries you might encounter during your path, but I am ready to step in and sort it out the funniest and the most interesting way ever. That being said, please expect from my side a deep understanding and empathy in each phase of your learning process.

I do believe in the value of gamified exercices and in the fact that the culture of the language to teach is a key element even when you are attending a language course, that is, do expect to figure out a lot about Italian culture, history, architecture, linguistics, music and cinema.
I appreciate a lot using quality textbooks but also to create original materials from real-life language excerpts.
I also teach business italian classes and preparation courses to get CILS certifications. I teach from A0 to C2 levels.
I actively and constantly take part in seminars and international conferences about teaching Italian, both online and offline.

Another very successful lesson with Francesco. We discussed the role and status of public intellectuals, history, politics, language learning and artificial intelligence (amongst other things) as well as covering some important points of Italian grammar and vocabulary. Francesco prepares and tailors each lesson to my needs, and I very much look forward to the next one.

A very professional and entertaining lesson with Francesco. One of the main things I look forward to in a teacher is the ability to correct my spoken Italian in a polite, subtle, yet effective way. Francesco has this skill and uses it very well.
