Hello! I’m Daniel, a Spanish teacher specialized in helping people who are visiting Mexico or are interested in Mexican culture. I live in Cuernavaca, Mexico, and I’m passionate about sharing the richness of my culture: from street food to the most beautiful places. I’ve traveled across Europe and Mexico, always with my camera and curiosity to connect with people. Are you planning to visit Mexico or speak like a local? I have been teaching since 2012 and hold both TESOL and TEFL certificates. I earned my BA in Language Education with honors. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to teach people of various ages (the youngest being 2 years old, indeed!). I have taught at different institutes and universities, and since 2015, I have been teaching online. My students often say that I am very patient and that they feel comfortable making mistakes, which is an essential part of the learning process. As a teacher, I strive to make my students feel at ease. I use a PPP approach to ensure that every student learns something new in class, whether it's grammar, pronunciation, or expressions that native speakers use in daily life. In our first session, we will discuss your objectives and interests, and conduct a sample lesson. We can cover topics of your interest or focus on specific areas you'd like to improve. Daniel is an excellent Spanish teacher! I have learned so much taking classes with him these past 6 months, and I know that I’ll continue to make much progress. I like the way he reviews things from previous lessons and sends links and resources for practice exercises. He is also very easy to talk to and fun to learn with! I couldn’t ask for a better teacher to learn Spanish with and would give him 20 stars if I could!

I am completely satisfied with the progress of my spanish lessons with Daniel. He is very patient, takes the time to explain any questions I have with respect to understanding why one would use this phrase as opposed to that phrase. Daniel speaks his spanish so that one understands what he is communicating to you.

It has been a pleasure working with Daniel. We just concluded a ten-lesson package where I hoped to continue improving the Spanish I already had prior. Daniel can provide themes for your conversation practice or even give impromptu grammar lessons. I recognize that one of my weaknesses (among many) are mastering the tenses and how they can shift when speaking on certain topics of the past and future. I look forward to staying in touch with Daniel and booking future lessons to keep the learning train running.
