Timor is an extraordinary Hebrew language teacher and a master at his craft in helping students hone their speaking ability, especially those hoping to preserve the quite perishable skill. Although my goal is just maintenance, Timor never ceases to challenge me to continue improving. I’ll remark it’s also not limited to speaking but also developing the listening and reading modalities. I can't help but also mention that he deftly employs an impeccable pedagogical strategy in linguistic triggers and word assimilation. Further, I truly enjoy our discussion on life and its anecdotes, on psychology, on belief/faith, on philosophy, on science, on science and technology, and so much more. It's insane that we're able to cover so much in such a short amount of time. He combines his casual personality with a jocular demeanor, which makes for a very smooth learning process. Additionally, he's a very flexible individual and always ensures to communicate. All around a very chill and cool guy.

I’m still a beginner so I was a little nervous about maintaining a conversation mostly in Hebrew but Timor was super encouraging and made me feel at ease. He also gave me a lot of strategies to make my Hebrew sound more natural. תודה רבה!

Timor is so charming,patient, really encourages an advance student remember the word needed, avoiding my using English or Portuguese if possible. He explains things so thoroughly. I lived in Israel for 8 years, there are many things about life there which I miss and he completely understands my emotional needs as well. Besides being a wonderful Hebrew teacher and someone young enough to be my son, he also affords me emotional support. I laugh, I cry sometimes. Every lesson is different and very special. Timor is like a younger brother or son to me. I lived in Israel 8 years also in his hometown Tel Aviv. We speak about topics which are happy, are sad, are serious considering the current situation. I have tried out several Hebrew teachers in the past. Timor listens very intently, and allows me to speak without stopping me for every correction; he waits for me finish the sentence or paragraph.
