Maria has so much passion for teaching and life in general, it is very motivating. As a beginner, it’s easy for me to feel overwhelmed with new information and concepts but Maria knows how to explain everything so clearly and with enthusiasm that it makes learning and practicing new things much more fun and easier to understand. She provides a lot of material and examples as well. Maria is one of the best instructors I’ve had on italki.

Maria has a bubbly personality that is very welcoming in her classes. You feel like you're talking with a friend. I can't recommend her enough, you will not regret having her as your Spanish teacher. She is one of the best teachers, I have had the pleasure of learning with.

I like Maria a lot, she noticed that I kept trying to say something in Spanish but was stopping myself and she made me feel comfortable to talk and ask my questions

Siempre disfruto las clases con María. Es obvio que le encanta enseñar y siempre le alegra discutir cualquier pregunta que tenga. No importa si tiene que ver con la gramática, la fonética, el vocabulario, la cultura colombiana o lo que sea. En cada clase aprendo mucho y puedo practicar hablar y entender en español.

María is an incredible, knowledgeable, and very kind teacher. She is passionate about life and it translates to her lessons. We can talk about anything and (quite literally) everything, and the conversation is always engaging. Her pronunciation is easy to follow, and she does great with giving feedback and corrections throughout the session. 1000/10 would highly recommend!!! ❤️
