Hi, my name’s Martina. I was born and raised in Switzerland and lived several years in Germany as well. In 2024 I moved with my family to Australia. I’m a professional and native German teacher. I hold a Master’s degree in Secondary Education for German, English and French, as well as additional studies in German as a second language. I enjoy teaching children as well as adults. I have more than 15 years of experience as a teacher in Primary and Secondary schools as well as in private lessons for adults.

My long experience as a language teacher for all ages helps me to tailor my lessons around my student’s needs. I teach in a fun and positive way.
I love cultures and languages and I’m sure that you can only fully immerse in another country’s culture when you know at least some language basics.
If you like to, I will bring you closer to the Swiss and German culture. We can talk about the daily life in Switzerland, the cities, the nature and all the fun things you can do in this beautiful country but also about how to overcome some obstacles in your everyday life in Switzerland.Мои уроки и стиль преподавания
In my lessons, the focus is on you. I believe that the more you talk, the faster you’ll improve. I encourage you to engage in conversation as much as possible, and I’ll also share a bit about myself and my interests to keep the lessons lively and interactive.
The lessons are a mix of speaking, reading, listening, writing, and a bit of grammar, ensuring you get a well-rounded learning experience. I make sure the rhythm of the lesson keeps you engaged, even during a 60-minute one-on-one session, so you’re always actively involved.
Every lesson is customised to meet your individual needs, whether you're aiming to improve your fluency, work on specific skills, or simply learn at your own pace.Мой учебный материал

Learning German is easier with Martina - I worked with multiple teachers before, and I find Martina's experience and patience is on next level.
She genuinely care about my progress, highly organized, well prepared for the lessons, consistently guiding me through various format of learning with good pace. I feel confident and happy leaving each classes, without feeling the drain of learning.

Thank you so much Martina for all of your well-prepared lessons. I really enjoyed all the lessons that we did together. She helps me to improve German with lots of speaking exercises, and I always appreciate all of her corrections because I don't usually get them while taking lessons in a big group. I feel a bit more confident with speaking German now!
