I have been studying Korean with teacher Soo-Young Kim for about two years and truly appreciate every lesson with her. She is kind, patient, well prepared and explains grammar very clearly. She always answers my questions and makes sure I really understand the material. Her lessons are structured, enjoyable and encouraging. Thanks to her teaching, my Korean has improved a lot over time. I am very grateful for her support and can wholeheartedly recommend her. Ich lerne seit etwa zwei Jahren Koreanisch mit Lehrerin Soo-Young Kim und schätze jede Unterrichtsstunde mit ihr sehr. Sie ist freundlich, geduldig, immer gut vorbereitet und erklärt Grammatik klar und verständlich. Sie beantwortet alle Fragen und sorgt dafür, dass man den Stoff wirklich versteht. Ihr Unterricht ist gut strukturiert, angenehm und motivierend. Dank ihres Unterrichts hat sich mein Koreanisch im Laufe der Zeit deutlich verbessert. Ich bin sehr dankbar für ihre Unterstützung und kann sie von Herzen weiterempfehlen.

I'm learning a lot of Korean having fun, and even when I don't get something, Professor Kim always explains it to me in a joyful and clear way, until I fully understand. I'm so glad I have the opportunity to study and learn this wonderful language with useful tools (such as exercises, homework and different materials) and a capable guide. I've completed less than 10 lessons and I'm already seing improvement. I would recommend her to anyone willing to build solid language skills and a comprehension of the mechanisms of Korean language.

선생님 김 uses an immersive method that models Korean language patterns and grammar structure and makes you speak, read, and interact with the Korean language. She uses a lot of repetition to maximize practice and provides immediate feedback, creating the framework for natural conversations. Her slides are very clear and her videos at the end of class slows you to review the class content at your own pace. She goes over the homework with you so that you understand errors. Her methodology is based on active and communicative learning. And above all, she is very patient! I have made a lot of progress since I started, all of a sudden the grammar started to click. Now I feel that I understand more and more. I highly recommend this teacher.

Soo young Kim is an amazing Korean teacher! She teaches in a patient yet strict style that guides me through making mistakes, learning new material, and processing grammar. Her grammar lectures are particularly great and help you practice grammar, vocabulary, speaking, and listening all at once. I also like that she assigns homework, as it encourages me to keep reviewing the grammar throughout the week. In addition to grammar, she also mixes real-life conversation practice into the lessons, which makes the material feel very useful and relevant. Even when I make a lot of mistakes, she is very patient and motivating! Before meeting with Soo young Kim I was struggling to keep my Korean studies going during college. Now, her fun lessons are something I can look forward to. I truly owe my improvement to these lessons!
