In class, we simulate real-life scenarios—shopping, medical visits, business meetings, dining, job interviews—guiding students to think directly in Chinese. This helps build a natural feel for the language and turn grammar into spontaneous expression.
I incorporate authentic materials like news clips, movie scenes, Chinese pop songs, and everyday conversations. These create an immersive environment where students grasp the logic, rhythm, and natural flow of Chinese.
