Hi! My name is Laura, I'm from Brazil and I currently live in the state of São Paulo. As a teacher, I am passionate about studying the language learning process. However, in terms of my personal interests, I dedicate a significant amount of my time to researching and writing about world politics and Brazilian history (for fun).
I enjoy attending concerts, traveling, and immersing myself in new experiences from various cultures, both from around the world and within Brazil. Exploring different cultures and customs fascinates me. Photography, cooking, and hiking are among my hobbies. Music holds deep meaning in my life, I have an old soul, but I'm constantly seeking out new songs to listen to.Показать перевод

For me, the process of learning a language is very much similar to traveling to another country. The main difference is that traveling you do on vacation, but to learn a language you can do every single day in the confort of your home. Imagine yourself talking to a brazilian, seeing their accent, discovering about another country's culture, slangs, food, the people, everything! Me as teacher will help you do that; I'm going to teach you the portuguese that we actually speak and try to increase your interest in this beautiful country within every lesson, helping you discover a whole different world just by sitting on you chair.Мои уроки и стиль преподавания
Our lessons will be directly focused on your main goal, that will be discussed on the trial lesson. Having that in mind, it's important that you know that my lesson style is completely flexible according to the student needs, which means that I'm not gonna throw grammar at you if your learning method doesn't work with grammar only; I'll prepare the lessons depending on HOW YOU LEARN THE BEST.
Or I will help you with conversation practice, in which the topic can be decided by you, in case you have an specific matter in your hands that you need to discuss in a very well and fluent way. Laura is an amazing teacher! I had many teachers before her but I didn’t feel like my Portuguese was improving, but since having classes with Laura, I can see a huge difference! I don’t translate from Spanish into Portuguese anymore, I just speak in Portuguese without translating in my mind! I feel much more confident speaking now and it’s all thanks to Laura ☺️ she creates a really safe environment where I have lost my fear of making mistakes ☺️ obrigadaaa 🥰

I’ve been taking classes with Laura for 5 months and I can absolutely recommend her. She is a fantastic teacher, always organized, with clear structure and a planned learning method. She will adapt to your learning needs and will tailor the classes to make sure you make the most of it. I started Portuguese from scratch and since I started classes with her I feel much more comfortable, I’m able to have basic conversations and I’m improving day by day!
Not only you will see that she treats the classes in a very professional manner, but also she makes the interactions fun and enjoyable. I never got bored in any of her classes !
Long story short, if you want to learn Portuguese send Laura a message!

I just had my first lesson with Laura and I really enjoyed it. Laura is very patient and friendly and has a lovely personality. I felt very comfortable right away with practicing speaking Portuguese. Excited for my upcoming lessons and seeing how much I will improve through my lessons with Laura!
