Cristina has been an amazing Portuguese teacher! I've been working with her for a few months now, and from the very first class she listened to what I needed — which was mainly to practice speaking — and tailored every session around that. What really impressed me was how she started by assessing my level and then consistently came to each class with prepared materials to match where I was. It never felt generic. Most recently, I asked her to help me prepare for a work presentation, and she went above and beyond — helping me draft the content, practice my pronunciation, and giving me detailed, actionable feedback. I recommend this teacher to anyone that wants to have fun learning difficult subjects and concept. When you get to something that you are struggling with she will stop and take time to focus on it is a fun way which makes it easier to remember. Her experience showed that she cares about her students learning the correct way and more important remembering good pronunciation.

I’ve taken over 50 classes with Cristina, dating back to July 2021. In that time, I’ve gone from an A1 beginner to a B1+ level in Brazilian Portuguese (I don’t speak any Spanish at all, just English). She’s flexible to your style of learning and we’ve built a friendship throughout the last 8 months. If you’re looking to have a good time while rapidly improving your abilities in Portuguese, I can’t recommend her enough.
