Hello! My name is Tapas, I am a native Bengali and Hindi speaker and English is my second language.I am a Software developer and also have a bachelor's degree in physics. I live in the cultural capital of India- Kolkata, in West Bengal. Therefore, I am naturally more inclined towards arts and heritage. I am a bookaholic, and I love learning about the cultures and customs of different places worldwide.
I am good at effective conversation and love to communicate with different people, irrespective of their language. I feel language can never be a barrier when it comes to sharing and exchanging knowledge, information, ideas, and thoughts.Показать перевод

**Since my college days, I have been teaching both kids and adults English, Bengali, Hindi.
**I have experience of over 5 years in teaching students of all ages and levels and my teaching style differs with each.
**I try to get to know each of my students and allow them to know me as much as possible, to create a comfortable and engaging environment where they do not hesitate to ask questions or feel uncomfortable in making errors as it's all a part of learning.
**I believe that in order to succeed with anything in life, one has to enjoy what they do. This is why I try to make my lessons fun and interactive so that my students feel motivated to continue learning English, Bengali & Hindi.Мои уроки и стиль преподавания
**Building vocabulary, pronunciation skills, basic grammar knowledge, and fluency are the core of my lessons. I focus more on helping to develop practical language skills that would enable the students to strengthen their proficiency in communicating effectively.
**I use audio resources in my lessons, which help students understand how the languages are used in real-life situations.
**I provide written materials about the topic of the day's lesson for revision purposes. I ensure that my students always have easy access to the required study assets.

I very much like how our classes have progressed. Tapas has gone from very structured grammar classes to more free-form conversation including prompts like pictures and short films, which have been tremendously useful for my Bengali practice.

Tapas is an excellent tutor. He does an excellent job planning lessons, and allows the student to work on what they feel they need most help with. He combines learning material with a cultural perspective, allowing the student to achieve a true understanding of the language.
