Hello! I am Elena and I am a certified teacher of Russian as a foreign language with a master's degree in History of Art from Moscow State University. Moscow is my mother city, and I also work as a tour guide here. I have been teaching since 2013, both Russian students and foreign learners. I used to live and work in Saint Petersburg, and this experience (together with the lockdown) has opened for me a path to online teaching. I teach all needed blocks of Russian: speaking, reading, writing, and listening.
If you are going to study or work in Russia, I will help you at all stages of preparation for the TORFL exam. My lessons are practical and may include essay writing, tests, watching and discussing videos, and reading texts.
I work with beginners, intermediate and advanced learners.
Within our common work, you can achieve good and accurate knowledge in Russian including pronunciation, contemporary slang, and details of grammar.
I may give you homework. Its amount depends on your wish and the time you are ready to devote to Russian. But remember, regularity brings more results than occasional intensity.Мои уроки и стиль преподавания

Teacher of Russian as a Foreign Language - RUSSIAN LANGUAGE CENTRE MOSCOW STATE UNIVERSITY - 2021In order to qualify to teach professionally, I applied to the Russian Language Centre at Moscow State University. Here I took a course "Methods of Teaching Russian as a Foreign Language" of 350 academic hours, passed 9 exams in disciplines. This diploma is a document of established form and gives the right to conduct a new type of professional activity. I can attach only one file here - a photograph of the diploma. I am ready to send all the attachments to the diploma on request.

I have taken many lessons with Elena and I can say, with great certainty, that she is one of the most wonderful teachers I have ever had. She makes the lesson environment feel incredibly comfortable. She is interactive, professional, polite and very helpful. She adapts to your needs wonderfully and goes out of her way to plan lessons that will be enjoyable and will suit the student's needs. I have seen my russian improve a great deal thanks to her lessons. I wholeheartedly recommend her as a teacher.

«Я успешно сдал ТРКИ-I благодаря Елене!!!»
За 40 дней до тестирования я изо всех сил пытался подготовиться к экзамену самостоятельно и искал учителя, знакомого с ТРКИ. Я нашёл её на italki и перед пробным уроком объяснил ей, зачем мне личные уроки. На пробном уроке она уже была хорошо подготовлена, чтобы научить меня сдать экзамен. Я был очень впечатлен и сразу решил продолжить с ней учебу для тестирования.
Она всегда давала мне необходимое количество домашних заданий, и это заставляло меня постоянно учиться на ТРКИ. Кроме того, она быстро заметила, что мне нужно улучшить перед экзаменом, и составила план обучения для меня с четкими целями. После последнего урока перед экзаменом она дала мне домашнее задание перед экзаменом и дала мне подробный отчет сразу после того, как я отправил его ей. Более того, она подбодрила меня добрым сообщением, и это сделало меня более расслабленным и уверенным)
Таким образом, благодаря ей я сдал ТРКИ-I с отличным результатом.

Although I've only had a few lessons with Elena, it's clear she is a superb teacher with incredible knowledge of Russian and European history, art, and travel. Every class is both a fantastic Russian lesson and a fascinating lesson about Russian culture. I would especially recommend her to someone considering visiting Russia due to her experience traveling and guiding tourists. At this point, I'm sure I've only seen a small preview of Elena's expertise, so I look forward to learning more from her in future lessons!
