I really enjoyed our lesson. Miriam is passionate about teaching and loves the languages she is teaching. This was reflected in her teaching style. I felt very encouraged after our first lesson. I am looking forward to the next one!

Miriam is an awesome teacher! I really appreciated how she let me struggle to find my words instead of cutting in to rescue me. She did a great job of leading the conversation into a new topics so that we had a nice flow to the lesson. I think I spoke more Swahili than I have in a long time.
