Hi, I'm Daria! I teach Romanian, Russian, English and Italian on italki. I have a degree in Philosophy, International, and Economic Studies from Ca' Foscari University of Venice. 🎓 I wrote my final dissertation on the ethics of organ transplant. I've worked on academic, business, and cultural projects, providing both translation and consecutive interpretation for international NGOs and other organizations. 🔗 I love travelling and I visited 14 countries in Europe and America. 🌍 Beside my academic interest in philosophy and passion for languages I am an artist and I love dedicating my time to painting.Показать перевод

✔️ I aim to create a supportive and engaging learning environment tailored to each student’s needs. My experience as a multilingual translator and interpreter has given me deep insight into the challenges of language learning, which helps me guide students effectively.
✔️ I focus on practical communication skills while also improving grammar, vocabulary, and cultural understanding. I am highly adaptable and I am open to teaching students of any age and language level. The content of the lesson varies by the type:
✔️ Conversation practice focuses on speaking and a natural flow of conversation. We can spontaneously choose different topics for discussion or talk about a text or article chosen in advance.
✔️ Feel free to ask me to do job or university interview preparation. We can also work on you motivation letter or professional presentation.
✔️ Grammar, writing and vocabulary classes are more structured and are focused on a systematic approach to grammar rules and vocabulary lists. You can also tell me in advance if you would like us to focus on specific grammar topics. Otherwise - I will always have something general prepared for your level.Мой учебный материал

One challenge with language learning is maintaining interest and finding interesting conversation topics. This is not a problem with Daria. A thought-provoking and compelling conversation helps to push you into full immersion when speaking and thinking in a foreign language.
