Jenny Liu

I have been practicing Chinese conversation / kouyu with Jenny for some time now and I have found our lessons to be incredibly useful. I can feel my progress from lesson to lesson and I am extremely grateful for her understanding and help. I would recommend Jenny to anyone trying to improve their conversational Mandarin.

Jenny has been invaluable in helping me to improve my conversational Chinese. Prior to our first lesson I was not very fluent at all, and despite the fact that my vocabulary and grammar are still at a low level, we are now able to discuss topics slowly and I can see the progress each lesson.

Jenny is a spectacular teacher! Through her teaching style I've learned much faster than I did in high school and university Chinese classes, and my speaking confidence has increased significantly. Our classes are very fun, tailored to my learning pace and goals, and have allowed me to discover and address my weaknesses. Highly recommend!

Jenny is a great teacher. She is very patient with her students, always gives a chance to speak one's mind. Highly recommend her to everyone. Especially to those students who want to learn actual spoken language.

This has been my second lesson with Jenny and my second time conducting a lesson completely in Chinese. She has provided me with lots of useful feedback and notes to review as well as correcting me at the correct level (not interrupting too much, not interrupting too little) during the lesson.
