Karen Gao

I have been using Karen as Cantonese teacher for my kids for the past few years. She is interactive, attentive, and very fun to learn from. My kids love her and will definitely recommend her to anyone that's interested in learning the Chinese language.

A very good teacher, she teaches a lot a useful words from the very first class. I feel like I can start speaking a little bit after just one class.

I had my first lesson with Karen today. I was a bit nervous beforehand, but Karen is very kind and made me feel comfortable. The lesson was well-structured and easy to follow. I enjoyed it a lot :)

Karen was great! She saw I was having difficulty and adjusted her speaking to my level, and I had a really easy time with her. She gave good feedback throughout the lesson and corrected me on grammar and pronunciation as I requested, and at the end, she gave me insight in my speaking which was helpful and showed she really paid attention through the lesson.

Karen is patient and consistently thoughtful. She really is a gem, and I highly recommend her to Mandarin learners of any level.
