🌈 Hello! Thank you for visiting my profile. I am from Xalapa, Mexico, and I have a background in Physics at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). My hobbies are playing chess, and sports. I spend my day studying the Holy Torah, praying and meditating. I love sharing my knowledge of my native language and teaching Spanish on italki. 😊

🦄 My main approach to teaching Spanish is using the Crosstalk method which is basically you speaking in English and me in Spanish. Crosstalk is a very powerful technique that allows you to focus 100% on listening and understanding (INPUT) rather than trying to come up with the words to speak (OUTPUT). This method tries to emulate the way we learnt our native language when we were kids, so is the most natural way to learn basically any language. 🦄

Dyck is a great teacher. Our crosstalk conversations are fluid and have helped me cement my understanding of Spanish. Dyck speaks at my level and is very patient and will explain if I don't understand something. I look forward to our lessons!

Dyck is an excellent conversation instructor! He was very good at keeping the conversation going despite my limited Spanish abilities. Even though I make a lot of mistakes I was very comfortable practicing speaking with him.
