The fear of making mistakes persecutes many people, regardless of their achievements, age and social status. Where does the fear of making a mistake come from, and how to overcome it?

Many people are hesitant to do something serious, not so much because they are afraid of failure, but because of fear of public condemnation or censure.

Often, such anti-motivation is a consequence of a hidden inferiority complex: a person is so dependent on public opinion that he loses the ability to make decisions on his own.

In the podcast I will share some ideas about the fear and what do top managers look for in their employees (since C-level managers are my regular students).

في شمال إيطاليا، في بيرونا نحتفل بقدّيسة اسمها لوسيا. إنها أهم من قدّيس نيكولاس.

في يومي اثنا عشر وثلاثة عشر في ديسمبر، القدّيسة لوسيا تأتي على حمارها مع زميلها كاستالدو.

الأطفال يتركون قهوة للقدّيسة وطحينًا للحمار وخبزًا لكاستالدو. ينام الأطفال عندما تأتي القدّيسة، ويجب عليهم ألا يروها أو سترمي رمادًا في عيونهم ولن يستطيعوا الرؤية خلال مدة.

يقال إن شابًّا وقع في حبّ المُقدّسة عندما رأى عيناها. طلب الشابّ منها عينيها وأعطاها عينيه. ولكن أصبحت للقدّيسة عينان أخرتين وكانت معجزة. الشاب طلب منها مرة أخرى عينيها فرفضت وقالت إنها قد أعطته عينيها من قبل وهذه معجزة.

الشاب قتلها بطعن في القلب.

رُبما تعود هذه التقاليد إلى القرن الرابع عشر، عندما كان هناك وباء عيني وحشي للأطفال في مدينة فيرونا. بعد الوباء، قرر الآباء الذهاب إلى الكنيسة المخصّصة للقدّيسة بدون أحذية. الأطفال كانوا يخافون من البرد ولكن وعد الآباء بأن القدّيسة ستحضر لهم الحلوى والهدايا عند عودتهم إلى المنزل.

こんにちは！
Japanese daily life podcast のAtsushiです。
このPodcastは、日本語を勉強しているみなさんに向けたPodcastです。

今回は、シンガポールから目的地までの飛行機の中の話をします。

さて、無事会いたい人に会えて、いよいよ乗り継ぎのためにもう一度出国します。

どうやるのか分からなかったので、少し不安でした。
でも、結局はめっちゃ簡単に終わりました。

Departure gateまで行き、パスポートをスキャンします。それから、乗り継ぎのチケットをスキャンします。すると1つ目のゲートがあきます。そのまま前に進んで、カメラを見ます。それで本人であることが確認されると、2つ目のゲートがあきます。これで出国は完了です。

それから搭乗しました。13時間ぐらい乗りました。
めっちゃ長かったですが、寝たり、食べたり、映画見たり、いろんな話をしたりしていると、着きました。

着いてみるとあっという間でした。

それで着いたのは、なんと…
ドイツです！

ドイツのフランクフルトに着きました。
今回の旅行は、ドイツとオランダへ行きます。

その為にシンガポールで乗り継ぎをしました。
ドイツではフランクフルトに着いて、その日はフランクフルトに泊まりました。
