In Rush Hour, you know that Chinese Consul name is Solo Han. Firstly ı would like to describe the name of Consul Solo Han. I though whether Solo Han is real name or nickname. I wondered it. Then I searched on internet and I found that maybe “Solo” is a nickname him. You know “Solo” means “Alone”. Maybe the nickname had been choosen by Consul Han because in generally strong people is alone and always feel himself alone. That’s why maybe Consul Han thought that this nickname decribe him perfectly. Consul Han is a Chinese Consul in Hong Kong. He is also friend with Detective Lee who works on Hong Kong Police Force.  At the beginning of movie, Han is hosting a dinner party to celebrate departure to do United States on the last day of British rulership. At that point detective Lee come there and he say something to Consul. And the movie begin this way. Now I would like to describe Consul Han. Firstly from everything, he is father. He has a daughter like me. His daughter name is Soo-Young who is maybe ten or eleven years old. Secondly he is a Chinese Consul in Hong Kong. He is also patriot. He loves his country and the cultural values ​​of his country. That’s why he is conflict to Juantro. Then his daughter kidnapped in United States. Whole FBI agent begin to search his daughter but he said that “ I am a Chinese, my daughter is a Chinese and I want to Chinese detective Lee.” . We learn that The Consul wants to trust a Chinese because he is a Chinese. But we can’t learn that he didn’t trust FBI. He only want to Chinese detective especially Lee. Because Lee and Consul is friend and Lee loves his daughter. At the ending of movie Han is meeting her daughter.  As a result we don’t know Consul’s wife is live or die or he is divorce his wife. We don’t know but we know that Consul and Lee is a close friend. Because at the end of movie, when Consul meet his daughter, he say “Lee, I owe you everything” and Lee answer him “Only friendship”.
