Hello, English students! I'm curious—who are your favorite artists or groups in the genres below? What do you like about their music or performances? How does their music make you feel? I'll go first: I enjoy all of the above—American, Japanese, and Korean pop! I think they all have excellent production quality and interesting dance choreography. I find K-pop particularly intriguing. One song I specifically love is "ON" by BTS because it's super energetic, and the choreography is so cool! It always makes me feel energized! Artists who perform those complex dance routines while singing at the same time always impress me! I think it takes a lot of breath control and spatial awareness of the other members. Please feel free to share a few sentences about them! I look forward to learning about your favorite artists and groups!

Building Confidence: The Key to Helping Kids Speak English After almost 10 years of teaching children around the world, I’ve seen one thing make the biggest difference in learning English: the confidence to start speaking. Research shows that language learning happens best in a low-pressure, engaging environment where kids feel free to experiment without fear of mistakes. They don’t need to be perfect—once they realize that, speaking becomes fun and exciting! 🌟 Play Creates Natural Learning Games, songs, and storytelling make English feel like an adventure rather than a lesson. When kids enjoy the process, they want to use the language. 🗣 Speaking Comes Before Perfection Many children hesitate to talk because they’re afraid of making mistakes. But fluency comes from trying—not from getting it right every time. Small steps, like answering simple questions or repeating phrases, help build confidence. 💬 A Supportive Environment Makes All the Difference Studies in second language learning emphasize that when children feel safe and supported, they take more risks in speaking, leading to faster progress. The moment a child stops worrying about perfection, learning becomes exciting. Have you seen this happen with your own students or children? Let’s share ideas! #LanguageLearning #ConfidenceFirst #TeachingKids #PlayfulLearning #italki
