90 day's training: Day 5 Could you please check my sentences? Thanks in advance. 🐰 1) I had the tickets for two concerts at the Salzburg Festival Summer. One of them has performed by Vienna Philharmonic and conducted by Riccardo Muti. I was fastinated during the concert. 2) Another one was a piano recital by Sir András Schiff. His concert was amazing. He was not only performing a piano, and also telling and talking very much. 3) He told us lots of things about history, composers and music styles etc. with humour. He was also talking to his audience. 4) He has always spoken in German first. After that he sometimes interpreted in English for English speakers, but it was just only if he wanted many people understand what he said. 5) At the beginning of the second half, he said that English speakers, You should learn German. It brought us roar with laughter. I had no problem with German, but I wanted to understand more English though.

A musician played and sang Jiang Kui's An Xiang for me, it was the first time that I had listened to that song being played on a guitar. I almost shed a tear. I think Jiang Kui would have been surprised and delighted that an Italian musician, nearly a thousand years after his time, played this timeless melody. Some things can only be understood firsthand. When I was young, I heard someone playing the slower melody of “Lament in the Pavilion” and I liked it very much, so I enrolled in a guqin class, but it was too far away. At that time in my life I was stressed so I had to give it up. I often move from place to place. Perhaps only people who move frequently can understand the traveling in Jiang Kui's mid and later life. “But now your poet is getting old, And he has forgotten the love and lyrics; Yet, he still resents the few flowers beyond the bamboo, For their chilling fragrance has crept into his chamber.”
