Recently, I've learned several effective approaches to having a deep insight into complicated articles from my italki English teacher. My conclusion with regard to it is as follow: First and foremost, it's imperial that you read the first as well as the last paragraph in order to find out the main idea of the article. Secondly, look through the questions and highlight every key words of the options. Eventually, according to the questions, reread the passage again and then figure out the most appropriate option to the questions. However, when you're reading the passage, skip through the vocabularies whose meaning are not clear to you and it's no need for you to pay so much attention to the details which are not relevant to the questions. Finding out the correct options is the most imperative thing within a limited time! ✍🏻
