I read English in yard yesterday morning, mosquitoes love me so much. They kissed more than10 times. The marks they left on my legs are still clearly today. It's so itchy! Today is scorching hot in Chengdu. I ate a bowl of bamboo shoots beef noodles for lunch outside and sweated a lot. 昨天早上在院子里读英语，蚊子太爱我了，她们吻了我十几次，她们在我腿上留下的痕迹今天都清晰可见，太痒了。 今天成都非常炎热，我中午出去吃了一碗牛肉笋子面，出了好多汗。

It was a very windy day today. My hair kept blowing into my face, and I couldn’t relax. I had taken the time to style my bangs before going to school, but by the time I got there, they were already messed up. I thought the strong wind because of a typhoon nearby. Summer weather changes fast.

Today, I took my final exam at school. The test was difficult, but there were questions from the things I had studied, so I’m glad I worked hard to prepare. Today was overcast, the sky bleak. I reviewed science from my textbook, focusing on density—a property of matter calculated by dividing mass by volume. Then, a classic question tricked me: Is 1kg of iron heavier than 1kg of cotton? At first, I missed the fact that they were the same weight, differing only in density. Later, I worked a bit on the periodic table. Memorizing it feels like the greatest obstacle ahead; though I’m not required to do that yet, I know I’ll have to eventually. The atomic numbers and names overwhelmed me, deepening my drowsiness. By the end, it truly felt like a day consumed by science.

Yesterday, I drove my friend to Disneyland and then went to Narita Airport with my mother. I had nothing to do all day, so I wanted to go for a drive. It was really fun. We ate lunch at the airport and saw a rainbow from the observation deck. But after coming home, I started to feel sick. Now, I have a sore throat, a headache, and a cough. I hope I get better soon.
