Students frequently ask me how my country celebrates Halloween. They are curious about the costumes, decorations, and candy. Join us for an hour of discussing Halloween. I'll talk about the Holiday, where it originated, how it has evolved over the years, and current traditions. There will be LOTS of pictures and video because Halloween in America is something you have to see to believe! I also want to hear how your country and culture celebrates Halloween, so bring stories (and pictures) if you have them. *Closed captions will be on. Students may use them or choose to turn them off. **If all Students agree, audio from the class will be recorded. The audio file (and transcript created from the closed captions) will be sent after class has ended. My classes have a fun, relaxed atmosphere that is totally judgment free. ALL are welcome in my class! Bring your favorite beverage, snacks and cozy up to your computer for an introduction into how us crazy Americans celebrate one of our favorite Holidays!

Students will learn how Americans celebrate Halloween and be able to share how their own country and culture celebrates. Students will be able to practice their Listening, Reading, and Speaking skills in a safe, supportive and friendly environment.
