This is an Advanced level class (B2 or higher) for those who wish to expand their vocabulary, practice their intonation, listen and respond well to others, learn helpful tips and use functional language to reach fluency in English. This group class begins with an introduction, then we will watch a five-minute video, and then we will discuss the content. Most importantly, we will have fun learning, because the teacher is friendly and can work as a good moderator.

Professor Shellwyn

Professional teacher with a Doctorate in Education & 25 years of teaching experience.

For Shellwyn, teaching is a vocation--helping others learn and grow is an extremely satisfying profession! She began teaching English professionally in 2012 (soon after she moved to Brazil) and earned a post-doctorate in Applied Linguistics in 2014. She also partners with universities on various educational projects.
