Want to improve how you sound on the phone or in meetings? Want to make sure you sound polite in English? This class will help you use natural phrases for phone calls, making arrangements or bookings. It will also give you ways to sound more polite in formal situations, e.g. talking with colleagues, clients or new acquaintances. This is the structure of the class: 1. Introductions 3. Listen to key phrases in context 4. Practice using polite language in English 5. Create a dialogue using the new language 6. Review You'll speak in pairs, groups and speak to the whole class. You'll have a chance to prepare a dialogue to practice the language learnt in class.

You'll learn some natural phrases to give reasons for phoning and arranging times to meet. You'll learn key phrases to help you ask polite questions in English using 'would'.

I make the most of the time we have in the online classroom and after class I like to send my students feedback, follow-up activities and useful vocab.
